One gear, no idea.
Alright boys and girls -it’s time to give you the skinny on what’s been happening in the world of Super Champion since our last update. First off, we got the new Macaframa DVD in - some amazing footage of crazy kids bombing the streets of San Fran, with a few tricks thrown in for all you 700cmx’ers. And speaking of tricksters, we have an amazing selection of Deep V’s, B43’s, and even a couple of Chukkers in stock. Also expect to see Hold Fast straps on our shelves in the next couple of weeks. For the budget minded looking to build up an inexpensive whip, we will be carrying Eighth Inch drops, bullhorns, rims, and a couple of frames.
That’s about it from us for now, so remember - ‘cross season is in full swing, and track season is on the way so you have no excuse to get off your ass and ride your bike! I’ll leave you with this video of six time British national trial champion Chris Akrigg showing us what his first two days on a fixed gear look like - keep in mind that he has never ridden a fixed gear before this video, and he’s riding platforms with no cages or straps.
One last thing - watch out for potholes hidden under puddles this fall…

BEERS
Hi, to all… We have been working hard in the shop, building IRO’s, and Pake’s, we also just got white KHS frames in, and started carrying frames by TRATOR, new company from Washington. We will be building up a few bikes over the next few days for people to come check out, and test ride so feel free to come by.
The 3 day at the velodrome just went down last week, i had some family stuff and was unable to make it, i spoke to a few people and they said the turn out was on the mellow side. I know the Portland mullet drove up from Team Beer, (i put the sticker on my window). On another note, BAD PARTY is this Friday at Strath Park, at 7pm. BYOB!!!!!!!! AND EVERYONE GO VOTE, GORDON CAMPBELL IS A CLOWN!!!!
Lifetime/ Super Champion
The dudes at Lifetime and the Dudes at Super Champion have been doing some stuff together. The dudes at Life Time also did some stuff with the dudes from Cadence Clothing. The dudes from Life Time sent me a box of goodies, and inside this magic box was a Cadence/LifeTime Cycling cap, a cycling 3/4 pant with a nice tapered fit to it. As well as a t-shirt by Super Champion and LifeTime, and another t-shirt that i haddone with LifeTime, on my own personal time. Check it out..

Peace out…it’s still raining on all my dogs in Vancouver.
Bean Around The World
Super champion & Bean Around The World, have decided to work together on a bike project. We built up a all chrome coffee shop ride for BATW, which they will be giving away in a few weeks. How can you win this bike? You can ride or walk to Super Champion, or to BATW coffee shop on Powell, or the new location on Union & Gore, and start yourself a punch card. Once you have started your coffee consumption, you will need to drink seven (7) coffee. Once this has happened your punch card will be entered into the draw to win this all chrome coffee machine, that we at SC built. You have a few more weeks to get some coffee going down your throat. We have a few friends that are working on their third and forth card. Here are a few photos to peak your interest in the dark drip.

No commentsSAG BAGS
I know a few of you had been waiting for the SAG bags to arrive and they just did. We have a limited supply, so if you are interested you might want to make it to the shop sooner then later. I also finished that glass display counter i was working on over Christmas. I finished it about 2 weeks ago but i finally thought i would give myself a pat on the back and post a photo of it. Most of you regulars have seen it, but i thought i would share with the rest of you. The glass is 10mm, it’s lit from the side with flouro tubes and has some frosted white plexi to soften the horrable light those lights give off. Used a fair bit of materials that i had found or had laying around but the glass was a good hit to the wallet. And making silicone look good is an art, man that shit is hard. We also had our second run of Super Champion kits show up. Jerseys are $95, bib short$110, Kit is $205 CAN. Very well made and i priced them just above my cost of making them. Also got a few new items in, EAI risers and flats chromed out with nubblet end, COG books, as well as the new issue. Those guys at COG work so hard, you all should show some support and pick up their new book. Also have MKS double toe straps, all black CHUB HUBS (rear only). And the new 09 CATLIKE compact pro helmets.
I have fallen back into
